When costing out your time and quoting for your time, obviously, you’re quoting for time on site, you’ve allocated ten minutes for you to roughing a job. You’ve got 10 minutes to actually go off and fit off, but have you actually quoted the travel time used to get there, all the time that you’ve spent planning it, the time that you’ve spent quoting it.
These are things that need to be recorded and using an app and using the timesheets in the apps, can actually help you record how much time you’re actually spending on a job, instead of just looking at what time you’ve spent on tools. Because all of that admin time costs you money and cost you time, so you need to be allocating that within your quote as well.
